About Listings

A listing is a recruitment post: someone (usually a group owner or admin) says “I’m playing this, with this modpack, and I have room for X more players.” Players who match can apply, and the group decides who joins.

Listings are the heart of GatherToCraft. Everything else exists to help you find the right listing and decide who gets in.

  • Title and description: what the game session or group is about.
  • Slots: how many players are wanted, and how many spots are already filled (a listing is marked Full when every slot is taken).
  • Modpack: the modpack being played, if any. Listings without a modpack are vanilla.
  • Group: the group the listing recruits for, with a link to its page.
  • Looking For: the categories of players wanted (for example Casual, Building, Late night), based on the platform’s category system.

A listing is either Open (accepting applications) or Closed (no longer recruiting). The author can close a listing at any time. Closing it is also how you free up room under your open-listing limit.

  • Browse Listings (Dashboard → Listings): search, sort, and filter every open listing.
  • Discover (Dashboard → Discover): a unified feed of new listings and gallery uploads.
  • Share links: every listing has a shareable link (the Share button on the listing page) that anyone can open, even without an account.

Who can create listings

Only group owners and admins can create listings for their group. If you’re not part of a group yet, you can create one while making your first listing.

Listing limits

You can have 1 open listing without a verified Minecraft account, or 5 with one. Close an old listing to free up a slot.

Report bad listings

If a listing breaks the community guidelines, use the Report button. Every listing page has one.
