Community Guidelines
GatherToCraft works because players treat each other with respect. These guidelines are the short version of the rules you agree to when you create an account, and they apply to everything you do on the platform: listings, applications, group pages, profiles, gallery uploads, comments, and feedback.
The short version
Section titled “The short version”- Be respectful. No harassment, bullying, hate speech, or offensive content: towards anyone, anywhere on the platform.
- Be honest. Don’t mislead people in listings, applications, or your profile. No impersonation, no fake Minecraft verification, no spam or scams.
- Don’t waste people’s time. Signing up for sessions and not showing up, mass-applying without reading, and fake feedback all hurt the community.
- Play by the rules. Don’t try to bypass limits, restrictions, or the report system.
What’s not allowed
Section titled “What’s not allowed”- Spam: repetitive, irrelevant, or promotional content.
- Harassment: targeted abuse, doxxing, or ongoing hostility.
- Offensive content: hateful, sexual, or graphic material, including gallery uploads.
- Misinformation: deliberately false claims presented as fact.
- Anything else that makes the platform less welcoming for other players.
The full, official text lives at gathertocraft.com/community-guidelines, and the rules are shown again during onboarding.
What happens if you break them
Section titled “What happens if you break them”The moderation team reviews reports and can take action:
- Warning: a formal notice about the offending content, with a message explaining what was wrong.
- Content removal: listings, uploads, comments, or feedback can be removed.
- Reputation penalty: points deducted from your reputation score.
- Ban: temporary or permanent suspension of your account.
Warnings you’ve received stay listed under Dashboard → My Warnings, and you’re notified when it happens. Repeated violations escalate quickly.
Reporting violations
Section titled “Reporting violations”Spot something against the rules? Use the Report button on the content itself (listings, profiles, groups, gallery items, comments, applications). Reports are confidential and go straight to moderators.
